Experience & Activities

Despoina joined the Firm in 2025, bringing many years of professional experience specialising in internal audit, accounting and regulatory compliance.
She began her career at Baker Tilly Cyprus, where she qualified as a Certified Accountant and gained extensive experience in internal audit and accounting. Following 7 years with the firm, she joined a Fund Manager as Regulatory Compliance and Accounting Manager, further developing her expertise in regulatory matters and fund operations. Prior to joining the Firm, she also spent a year with an audit firm as Accounting Manager. Despoina is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Cyprus (IIA Cyprus). She holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Cyprus and is also a holder of the CySEC Advanced Certification.
