Accountant / Bookkeeper
General Description/ Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the bookkeeping of a portfolio of clients. This includes the setting up of the Chart of accounts, posting of entries, performing the requisite reconciliations, filing of accounting records and other relevant duties as follows:
- Payroll administration and processing
- Preparation and filing of Quarterly VAT Returns
- Submission of monthly VIES Declarations
- Assistance with the preparation of Accounting Reports, Management Accounts and Financial Statements
- Assistance with the preparation of provisional corporation income tax computations
- Liaising with clients for the gathering of accounting related information
- Liaising with the auditors for the Annual Statutory Audit
- Other Internal Administration duties relevant to the Department
Skills & Requirements
- At least 3-6 years of working experience as a Bookkeeper within a professional services organisation
- LCCI higher qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field will be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Navision will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent command of the English and Greek languages
- Good level of proficiency with MS Office applications
- Ability to meet and establish deadlines
- Very good interpersonal skills and time management skills
- Good team player
- Excellent communication, analytical and organization skills
- Attention to detail and results oriented
Remuneration
